Bart Ashley, DPh, J.D., Chairman
Bart Ashley is a founder of Metro Medical Supply, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee, where he serves as CEO.  Mr. Ashley is licensed to practice both pharmacy and law, and maintains over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry.  As an officer and director of Metro Medical Supply, a national distributor of pharmaceutical and medical products with sales exceeding $1 Billion, he oversees the company’s participation in all ventures.  These include specialty pharmacies, group purchasing organizations, outpatient disease management services, and health data marketing.


Michael Cooper, General Manager

Mr. Cooper’s extensive skills have resulted in over 25 years of successful ventures in the healthcare industry. At present, he serves as President of Metro Medical Supply, which is a national distributor of pharmaceutical and medical surgical products. Additionally, he serves as the Executive Director of the most dominant Group Purchasing Organization in the nephrology field (Renal Purchasing Group). Finally, linked to his capacity at Metro Medical Supply, Mike also functions as the general manager of a specialty medical-surgical manufacturing plant in Asia.

Jerry Buller, RPh, Director of Pharmacy

As Director of Pharmacy, Jerry Buller has over 10 years of experience in the field of community oncology.  Previous to his current position with Bellwether Oncology Alliance, Jerry has served as a research pharmacist, clinical oncology pharmacist, and director of pharmacy and business services for Georgia Cancer Specialists, a large, multi-center private oncology practice in Atlanta. He has also assisted in the planning and opening of a series of practice-owned oncology dispensing pharmacies.

Mr. Buller is a current member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacists Association.  Additionally, he has also served as administrator for a state oncology society, as well as having served on a wide variety of advisory boards for the pharmaceutical industry.

Jeff Hollis, Contracts Manager

Mr. Hollis comes to Bellwether Oncology Alliance with over 20 years experience in the wholesale pharmaceutical and medical products industry.  He was with Metro Medical Supply, a national distributor of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, for 19 years, serving in a variety of roles covering all aspects of the business.  While at Metro Medical, he held management positions in the areas of accounting, purchasing, IT, and operations.  He also served as Controller for several years.  Most recently, Jeff has managed the contracts and membership for the largest Group Purchasing Organization in the Nephrology field.
